SSFB was established in 2008. The company was borne out of the desire to provide small and medium sized companies with access to the best possible advice and solutions in quality and safety management at sensible prices. The principles and direction are based on many years of experience of working in the public and private sectors, and more recently with smaller companies struggling to deal with the changing face of the British economy, European standards, legislation and the recession.

Companies have enough problems to deal with on a day-to-day basis. We can help you by becoming a part of your team and being your competent person for safety; or we can just visit once a year to carry out audits and provide guidance on process improvement. Our services are flexible. We don’t believe that one-size-fits all. What we do believe is that every company is unique and has different needs. Flexible contracts, no hidden costs, no surprises
We don’t believe in locking our clients into a contract for several years. We offer a discount for loyalty, but our contracts are flexible with one months notice period* on either side. No hidden costs; no surprises. What’s more, we can offer an integrated service covering HR and environmental management too, which may not be for everyone, however if you do have an existing department or consultant we will work with them to ensure that your policies and procedures work together.
* Minimum contract of eight months for Small Steps.
